Windows 10: Best practice to manage scheduled tasks in Windows

I have an overwhelming number of active tasks. So many that it's difficult to identify outdated tasks, possible bad-actor tasks, and tasks that I just don't want running. Software I rarely use wants to perform various tasks every day. Sometimes every hour.


Call me a control freak, but I want to be the one to decide what my computer is doing. On the other hand, I'm reluctant to do a mass deletion, since Windows may really need to execute some tasks periodically to function properly.


Is there an easy way to manage these tasks?

I suggest you to clear the task from Task Scheduler using the below steps and check if the issue still persists.

Steps:-

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.
• Select End.
