  1. Best way to disinfect a Windows 10 system drive that won’t boot?

Im trying to find out the best way to fix a Windows 10 system drive that wont boot due to malware (just for learning purposes, I don't have any issues at present).

Im thinking of these two options:

-Adaware bootable Rescue USB (it supposedly disinfects malware)
-Microsoft Security: such as by attaching the affected Windows 10 system drive with a SATA-to-USB and scanning it from a working Windows 10 PC.

Which of these would be better? Any better options?

I guess Microsoft Security would be a better choice as I read that it will not only remove malware but will repair affected files (I guess itd replace affected system files or similar). Something that Adaware wouldnt do?

    Any advice much welcome ☺

    :)

Best way to disinfect a Windows 10 system drive that won’t boot?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
