The new option of adding Bing calendars in Windows 10 Calendar

I have just discovered this wonderful new feature of the Windows 10 Calendar app which allows you to incorporate Bing calendars showing dates and times of games for your favorite teams and competitions, air dates of your favorite shows, etc. Astonishingly
    useful, and very clever improvement.

    However:

    • Once you add the specific Bing calendar, the entries therein become associated by default to one of my accounts that reside in the Calendar app, and I have no way of associating them to a different account. Can they be associated to a different calendar
      account by default?
    • These new entries (TV shows, sports fixtures) can be color-categorized, but they can't be deleted individually unless you uncheck the entire Bing calendar that planted them in your calendar app in the first place. Which will delete all entries from that
calendar, of course. Is there a workaround? Can they be deleted individually?
    • Once I incorporate a Bing calendar to the Calendar app (albeit associated to the wrong account -- see avove,) that Bing calendar and its entries will show up in any device where I have the Calendar app and the associated account configured. For instance,
on my Windows phone, which is great. However -- Is there a way to incorporate these Bing calendar entries to the Outlook 2016 mail client? I have the supporting account installed in it, but it is not showing the Bing Calendar entries which
do show up in the Windows 10 Calendar app. And I tend to work more with the Outlook 2016 calendar than with the Windows 10 Calendar app.

    Windows Calendar

Just stumbled across a very useful addition in Windows Calendar.
At left scroll down, click on Add Calendars, options appear based I assume on info gleaned by Bing
Click on arrows as shown in attachment to expand, I chose English Premier League, all teams are listed, chose Manchester United, all 38 fixtures for the season appeared in Calendar.

    how to remove bing

    Hi NCA666,

My name is Roger W, an independent advisor trying to help. Let's try with the following suggestions, please:

    Step 1:

Steps for removing Bing from search bar:

    1. In Search type “Cortana & Search Settings” and hit enter.

    2. You will have to find “Search online and include web results” feature and toggle the switch to disable it.

Note: Set the switch to “Off” state.

    3. Reboot the Windows 10 device and your Bing search bar should be disabled.

    Step 2:

Steps for removing Bing from the Browser.

Open Internet Explorer and click on the Gear icon.

Click on the ‘Manage add-ons’ option.

Click on ‘Search Providers’ which is on left pane.

Right click on ‘Bing’ where is listed under the ‘Name:’ column.

Click on ‘Remove’ from the drop-down menu.

Keep us posted if you face any issues on windows in future. We will be glad to help you.
