Windows 10: Bit Locker not showing my recovery key, I have a new hard drive in my device

Just as the title says, I have a destroyed my old hard drive in my lenovo which came stock with windows 10 and am now trying to recover it but my bit locker shows nothing.

Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.

Bit Locker recovery Key/ complications

I have just recently purchased a new Lenovo Tablet (MIIX 320 ) Windows 10 Home, it was working great and was easily set up. It was fine for about two days until Windows preformed an auto-update. After the up date I can no longer boot the device. I get a
blue screen asking for a bit locker recovery key.

In reviewing the devices on my Microsoft account I find the device listed twice with bit locker activated. There is no recovery key recorded on the account and there is no ay to retrieve a key. The Tablet OS is Windows 10 Home which for all intents and purposes
cannot support Bit Locker encryption but I clearly have a frozen blue screen asking for a key.

Lenovo sends me to Microsoft and Microsoft sends me to a service. The service wants $499.95 for one time service with no guarantee for the repair. I am very concerned that I should have to pay $500 to repair a new device that cost $300.

I have done all the attempts from the Command prompt to recover the key and keep getting a error indicating the code cannot be found. Meaning the key is not recorded on this device.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue.

 

Bit Locker Key

Daughter laptop requesting bit locker recovery key.

She didn't change anything.

But overnight, its now requesting this. So assume an update occurred, that impacted this.

Ive checked our MS account and there no recovery keys there. He device is not even listed.

Is there a workaround, or fix. Ive looked at the support notes, and don't have a print out of the key or usb stick etc..

any help would be appreciated. As were stuck on the blue screen Bit locker screen.
