    BitLocker from retired device in Intune


    HelloI have a problem with a device I retired via Intune. Apparently, the student's dad was still using the device under his personal Live account. He was using the device to create his invoices and only saved them locally on the device. Understandably, he would very much like to get these files back. We did not get logged in to the device in any way. Via a restore, I already tried some things, but then he suddenly asked for the BitLocker key, which is nowhere to be found. Not through the student's account, not through the dad's account, not through Intune or through Entra. I still see the dev

    Intune Bitlocker Key Unable to saved on Intune

    We enabled the BitLocker policy and we are encrypting the device. the device getting encrypted but unable to save the Encryption recovery Key on Intune.

    There is no error. The Key is generating

    Intune device issue

    Hello,

    has anyone experienced an issue where a device in intune has had a "fresh start" however it didn't actually do anything and has removed the device from intune? The device has no local admin account and cannot be managed in intune anymore with things locked down such as re-installing windows or resetting the device. Any suggestions besides swapping out the drive?
