Windows 10: Bitlocker Key - Locked out of MS account.

Asus Zenbook, Windows 11A few days ago my laptop experienced its first blue screen which upon reboot prompted the repair-mode screen. In order to access the drive I get prompted to input a key for Bitlockers encryption. Seeing as this is something I didn't even knew I had on my computer, and thus havn't got backupd anywhere, I followed the step to try and find it in the microsoft account I registred when I bought the computer. This is an account solely created to use with this windows installation and unfortunately never used for anything else. When trying to log in I might have tried inputtin

Device listed in MS account but bitlocker key not showing up

I've had to replace the motherboard of my laptop an ASUS B9. Now the computer is asking me to prompt the bitlocker 48 digits. The bitlocker i assume it was enabled at factory by the manifacturer. The device was correctly registered with my Microsfot account but it does not show the bitlocker ID and Key corresponding to the machine.

I've been crawling around and consulted all the sites, including this thread where an user has my same issue: Redirecting

Any suggestions ? I cannot afford to lose some documents for an HW incident when my PC was correcty registred in.

Bitlocker key can not be found in the microsoft account

After a regular update of Windows my Notebook asked me for the Bitlocker Key although I never activated this. The device is listed in my account but in the list of keys it's not.

Simply doing a reset is definitely not an option, the data is needed.

Every single suggestion for how to find the key is absolutely useless so far.

The original MS account associated with this Windows installation was locked due to too many incorrect password attempts and the email address attached to it had been forgotten, so a new outlook.com account was created (as suggested in the MS account recover process). This required a 30 day wait to be able to access the new account. On day 30 we received an SMS stating that the account was active and to go to aka.ms/alcp. But after searching for the bitlocker key, none are listed in the account, and no devices are attached.

I thought the creation of the new account (during the recovery process) would transfer everything over to the new account, including the bitlocker key. But it didn't. It did however transfer a timestamp of when the password was last changed on the old account (in 2017) so that would indicate partial account data was transferred. Could it be that it hasn't been completed yet?
