Windows 10: Bitlocker onscreen keyboard

Hi guys,


I work at the IT department of a toy company.

We bought a Hp envy X360 15 inch as a replacement for a Hp specter X360.

With the default windows image that we install we also deploy Bitlocker for more security.


when i started te Hp specter X360 Bitlocker displayed a onscreen keyboard like this




But when i start the Hp envy X360 there is no button for a onscreen keyboard.

The laptops are almost te same so i don't understand why there is no option for bitlocker onscreen keyboard.


I also tried to enable the onscreen keyboard via the taskbar but i still did not get the keyboard with bitlocker


i hope you guys kan help me out.

Keep onscreen keyboard from displaying at startup

Hi Helene,

I suggest to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete key on the Keyboard.
• Click on More details.
• Go to Startup Tab.
• Right click on Onscreen Keyboard And select
  disable.

Nothing I do will change it.

Turn off on screen keyboard

• Open Start menu, type
  Settings in search bar and click on Settings.
• Click on Ease of access and select
  Keyboard.
• Then, Turn off the on screen keyboard.
