Windows 10: Bitlocker recovery key

HelloI am writing since I am unable to find my bitlocker recovery key and I don't really want to reset my files. I have done the bitlocker process before where I found my device was linked to my school and I recovered the key and it was fine. I wanted to move the device to my personal account rather than to keep it with the school and have run into the bitlocker issue again today however this time even though I see that my device is connected to my personal account there is no bit locker key attached to it. I don't know if I'm missing something or what.

I have lost my bitlocker recovery key and tried following the recovery steps. I have also searched and tried following the command prompts suggested but none have worked.
