Windows 10: Bitlocker shows un-encrypted in "Manage Bitlocker" but show encrypted in "Disk Management"...

Bitlocker is showing un-encrypted in "Manage Bitlocker" but show encrypted in "Disk Management". I had upgraded the Bios on an HP Z4 G4 Machine to the current version just to make sure everything is current. Why is there a discrepancy in what is showing for disk encryption. The drive is actually un-encrypted but its showing encrypted in Disk Management. This is for a machine in an active directory environment, so we are not clicking on "Turn On Bitlocker" in the "Manage Bitlocker" application, but instead are scripting the bitlock process. Any help would be appreciated why there is a disc

After BitLocker encryption, 10TB HDD unceassible.

I have a 10TB HDD WD 102KRYZ, that I encrypted with BitLocker. The encryption finished successfully and then after an hour I turned off the computer. When I turned it back, the drive was missing in This PC. I checked and it is not even showing up in BIOS, yet Device Manager, Disk Management and CrystalDiskInfo shows it, but as unceassible. CrystalDiskInfo shows it in grey, not showing any S.M.A.R.T and Disk Management wants to initialize it with a error: " The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

What should I do? The disk was okay before BitLocker encryption. Now it is totally off limits...
