    BITS keep switching off


    Hello. I have Windows 10 Home. Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.207).


    PROBLEM:


    Background Intelligence Transfer Service (BITS), keeps switching off. I can manually switch on to automatic, apply and OK...and then after a minute or so it simply reverts to switching off. I had a similar issue with my Lenovo Desktop and Microsoft Tech on Live Chat Support, tried there and could not succeed. He recommended that i revert to the previous version of the OS. I did that and the problem was resolved.


    However, that should not be the way to solve this issue. Has anyone out there have any answers please. EVERY OS BUILD MUST HAVE ITS OWN SET OF PROBLEM SOLVING METHODS. NOT REVERTING TO THE PREVIOUS OS. THAT'S NOT THE ANSWER. PLEASE HELP. Contact me on *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    switching from 32 bit to 64 bit

    Because the Media Creation Tool will usually contain both 32 and 64 bit versions along with a mix of Pro and Home, so if you have a mix of systems you want to upgrade and switch up like you are planning to do now.

    Airplane mode switch not working

    Since the troubleshooting steps that were provided did not resolve the issue, we suggest switching on the Radio Management Service. To do that, please follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type services.msc, then hit Enter.
    • Search for Radio Management Service.
    • Right-click, then choose Start.

    Note: Never ever set this service to "Disabled".

    Get back to us if the steps won't work.
