Windows 10: Black screen after initial boot screen

After the screen with the spinning dots and the Windows logo, the screen goes black. Windows is still responsive and makes sounds. To get it to display, I have to put the laptop to sleep and then wake it up to get it to display. I have tried reinstalling Windows and Windows+Shift+CTRL+B when the screen is black. I get the beeps but no display. Any help would be greatly appreciated.OS: Windows 10 with all available updates.Device: Toshiba Satellite C670-165

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
