Windows 10: Black screen after installing latest windows update KB5001330 with Nvidia graphic card

After updating to KB5001330 my screen turn black after the rolling dots before logging in.


I was able to enter in safe mode and update the Nvidia driver to latest version 466.11, but the problem still persists.


I had reinstalled windows and the screen was flickering, and after installing the Nvidia driver it went black again.


Already tested monitor and cable, and since it's working in safe mode seems not to be a hardware issue.


Here some infos about the machine:

• Windows 10 Home Single Language pt-br
• AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3593 Mhz
• NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
• Motherboard AB350M-DS3H V2-CF
• 16 GB of RAM

I'll install an older version of windows just to be sure if the update is really related to this problem, but everything points to a problem with the latest windows update.

I request you to try the following steps:

Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• 
  Right click on the Start menu.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.
  

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.

Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

Latest NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Drivers for Windows 10

Seems to be a lot of people having issues with this driver. A lot of people on Reddit and Nvidia forums are ending up having to go back to a restore point or go into Safe Mode and uninstall the driver because it black/blue screens their systems during install. Nvidia is suggesting it's a multimonitor issue, but I see people with single monitor setups that are having issues too.
