Windows 10: Black Screen after Update to 2004

Just got a notification on my desktop today to upgrade from 1903 to 2004, and once the pc restarts the screen turns completely black. After restarting numerous times, switching outputs, switching monitors (and also trying dual displays), the screen just keeps staying completely black since startup. Not even the MSI logo (running on B450 Tomahawk motherboard) pops up, just a dark screen that according to my monitor is a 640x480 60fps signal. Since most troubleshooting requires to go into safe mode, but curently no buttons I press or the forced powerup 3 times can get rid of the dark screen. Is there any other way to get past the dark screen?
