Windows 10: Black screen after WOL

I have just purchased a new ACER laptop (6 cores/12 threads) with win 10 as the operating system. I am an amateur astronomer and work remotely to my observatory using Team viewer. This computer was going to be the work horse for my observatory. I set up wake on LAN successfully but after this laptop wakes up the screen is black. This means that I can no longer log into the computer thru team Viewer. Any suggestions?
