Windows 10: Black screen with curser, can't restart explorer

Hello,


I am having trouble and am really struggling yo find a solution.


Started when I updated my windows 10 due to compatibility issues with a game with the version i had being a few years old.


The update seemed to work, though edge failed to update.


After this however i started having trouble with my start menu and keyboard.


I attempted to run sfc scan but it failed, then i attempted to run DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth.

Failed reading error 1392 corrupted


So i downloaded the windows 10 media creation tool and attempted a repair, but that wouldn't process. So i then downloaded the ISO image, mounted it and attempted to do a repair install, but that would not process. Error 0x8007007E - 0x40003


Following another thread on this error, i did a clean boot, and now I am stuck with black screen, curser works, i can open task manager. There is no windows explorer to be found, and when I try to manually restart it through the task manager nothing happens.


At a bit of a loss as to qhat i should attempt next as I seem to progressively worsening things. Any help would be appreciated.

After upgrading to windows 10 I was greeted by a black screen with no curser. After holding down the power key and restarting it works ok. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue?

At first startup after updating to Windows 10 screen is black with curser blinking in upper left corner. No response from mouse or keyboard. What is the solution?
