    Hello.


    I was using my laptop as usual, but suddenly, the wallpaper turned black and my task bar disappeared. Think restarting would help, I held the power button to turn it off, and I turned it back on. I noticed my custom cursor was changed back to default. Weird. It had the normal log in screen, so I logged in. There was a black screen with only my cursor back to custom and a flickering task bar that I can not use. I cant get the search bar up by pressing the windows key.


    So then I tried to boot windows using the boot manager f12 , and it told me that windows couldn’t launch properly, so I should either restart it or do advanced troubleshooting. Restarting gives me the same results.

    yes the computer is stuck!! When i switch it on i get the normal sign in screen with background pic after signing in all i get is blank or black screen cursor arrow is visable but the task bar flashes and is a grey colour when moving the mouse arrow over
    task bar just shoes busy egg timer can not do any functions at all. I dont know of any changes made to the computer as have not been on it for a while but my son uses it at weekends for roblox and steam! I tried reseting the pc without deleting my personal
    files but it didnt work! Ive also tried a system restore point which it (the computer claims it was sucessful) but after restart its still the same

    yes it was a rest as in trying to reinstall the windows!

    ive also tried several different things ive googled online but nothing is working??

    So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?

    Hi... when I started my laptop it goes to the screen where I put my pin in then it goes to a black screen then blue the task bar at the bottom flashes and arrow no icon when I clicked on the windows icon in the task bar it say something bout the program
    is not there ... it worked fine yesterday but been really slow starting up!!! I'm doing the diagnostic in the bios ...what shoul i do?????
