    So updated this morning, got the black screen that many others are getting with the mouse. (Alienware x51) I was reading these forums on my phone while tinkering with the computer. About 10 restarts into it, my computer reverted back to 8.1 ... Reading other forums and solutions, I'm currently updating every graphics driver that I can, and crossing my fingers. I figured I would start THIS thread so that people can see if that works. I'm NOT very computer savvy, couldn't figure out how to get to where I could turn off the intel card. So I'm updating everything now, before I reinstall windows 10. Hopefully this works! Otherwise I'll be trying very very hard to figure out what else I can do.

    Windows 10 Upgrade Goes Dark at 75%

    What should I do if my computer screen goes black with no cursor when my windows 10 update reaches 75%? It will get to 75% and then reboot as needed, and then the screen goes black with no cursor. When I hard reset the computer, it reverts back to Windows
    8.1. I have tried installing via windows update, ISO, and ISO via external device such as USB or Disc. Any suggestions?

    Updating to windows 10

    My computer was updating from windows 8.1 to 10. It downloaded all the files went to the blue screen went to 100% then went to the black screen with the percentage circle and about half way did a restart and came back to a black screen with just the cursor
    nothing else and been this way for about 4 hours now, did a restart comes back the same way. Is this normal, or is this a problem? Need help please.
