    Black Screen with Cursor Win11


    When I open the laptop after being closed for 10+ hours, it shows a black screen with cursor. I have to force shut down the laptop using the power button and then open it again to solve the problem. However, it this problem occurs again if I open the laptop after 10 hours of being closed.

    • Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
    • When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
    • Did you get any error code or error message?

    So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
