    Black Screen With Frozen Cursor


    Hello, I've just Installed Windows 10 on a newly assembled PC. My update was turned off. On the first day around 4th time when I shut down my PC, It was stuck on a black screen with frozen cursor and keyboard didn't work. I had to restart my PC by long pressing the Power Button. On the 3rd day this same issue happened again. This time when I restarted using Power Button just before logging in it showed some update was Completed. Is this issue related with update? Would it be solved if I update as needed?

    A corruption or incomplete installation may be the possible reasons why you experience black screen during installation of the update.

    Hello My friend has a 2 year old HP lap top shes not computer savy but I pretty much am. Her computer said it was repairing itself and she let it sit for hours to only end up with a black screen and cursor. The computer is frozen none of the keys work
    and shutting it off results in the same issue when turned back on. HP wanted a few hundred dollars for repair that she doesnt have nor does she have a recovery disc. I tried everything control alt delete, pushing the F2 button everything and cant seem to get
    anything. Anyone have a suggestion?
