Windows 10: Black Screen with loading cursor

Hi I have a windows desktop and I tried to dual boot Kali Linux along side Windows 10 using a bootable usb. I first made the bootable by burning an iso file to the usb, I then partitioned Drive C: so that I could make room for the new OS. I then changed the boot order so that it would boot from a usb stick. The installation went smoothly but the grub menu just wouldn't come up when I restart the computer and after a long struggle I gave up trying to get it to work. I then took out the usb, restarted the computer so I could enter the Bios menu and changed the boot order so that Windows was first instead of the usb. I saved and exited the menu and the computer started booting up. After a couple seconds it began saying "Preparing Automatic Repair". Then it said it was Diagnosing the issue, and finally it began "Fixing disk C:" followed by percentages and an ETA. It continued until Stage 3, then it restarted and now I'm at a black screen with a cursor that has a blue loading circle on it.


I'm really stuck right now and I really need help.

win10 black screen and cursor but no password on acc still not loading


I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8 and not 8.1 with black screen and cursor I had no password so it should automatically load into account but it did not plus I tried ctrl key and enter plus all other key combinations but nothing and waited for half an hour. Please help all suggestions are welcomed!

P.S. I can see the cursor and the loading windows logo so no imbecile answers like graphic card driver or monitor driver for god sake

 

Black screen with loading cursor

It is a similar problem but I’ve yet to find someone with the same one. It is a black screen with a mouse cursor and to the top right of the cursor is a small blue loading icon. No shortcuts seem to be working that I have tried so far. I can enter bios
but i dont think that will change anything. Nothing else seems to do anything. It worked fine yesterday and when i turned it on today this happened out of nowhere. Thank you

• Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
  
• When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
  
• Did you get any error code or error message?
