Windows 10: Black screen with no cursor

Hello friends,

I'm not sure if this is allowed but I am out of ideas and my computer won't start. If this is not allowed, go ahead and delete this post.

Computer hardware: Intel BODXDX79TO LGA 2011 X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel 330 series Maple Crest 2.5" 180gb SATA III SSD Intel i7-3930K Sandy Bridge-E 6 core 3.2ghost Asus GeForce GTX 680 G.SKILL Ripjaws X-Series 32gb (4x8gb)

So how I got into this mess. I bought a 8TB Wd western hard drive to back up my files (from 3 more drives I disconnected later). I start the transfer (about 6gb) and leave it overnight. I wake up to find the pc at the login screen. As I go to log in, my computer turns off. When I turn it back on it doesn't beep but i get the error message "0xc00000e9". After 20 mins of research I get nothing so I restart to get beeping with the bios code 67. I restart again and get beeping again with bios code 69. It boots the logo and then goes black with no cursor.

I pop the side open and clean all the dust out. Graphics card, CPU fan, case got all cleaned out. I was actually surprised how new it looked but I digress.

I get to the troubleshooting page, no results. I say fuck it and format the drive using system restore. Can't restore. So I figure I will have to boot using a usb. The only problem is i have a macbook as a secondary. I use exfat but the computer won't pick it up. I get a 3rd party program to mount ntfs. I get it working so I bring it back to the pc with the windows iso loaded on. No results. I start switching around the connection to another port. Nothing. I load up the bios and realise that the usb was disabled. Facepalm. I turn it on and now see the drive in the boot order. I click on it and the computer restarts to a black screen with no cursor.

I've spent the last 12 hours stressing over this. Please help. I assume either the graphics card or the motherboard to be the problem. After all I bought all those back in 2013. It could be the ram but those are less than a year old.

• Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
  
• When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
  
• Did you get any error code or error message?

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
