Windows 10: Blank wired Connection entry Crashes settings when clicked on.

In my settings, under Settings>Network and Internet>Ethernet there are two entries under ethernet:1. blank No internet2. Ethernet Not connectedBesides the fact that this list does not reflect the actual list of ethernet adapters I have, when I click on the blank entry Settings crashes without throwing up a Not Responding first nor a crash reporting process that windows usually throws up when something crashes. Whatever it is is connected to my computer, hence the no internet status but I have no way of knowing where and how. I have disabled all my VPN's that use Software intern

How to get to Wired Connection Settings

Method 1:

I suggest you clear the
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

• 
  Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Edge.
  
• 
  Select Settings and click on
  Choose what to clear.
  

Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files
and click on Clear.

Method 2:

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

            Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.

            Click the Tools
            button, and then click Internet Options.

Blank page on clicking link on Microsoft Edge

Method 1:

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.
