Windows 10: Blocked product key issue

Hello. I just bought recently a retailed USB stick Windows 10 home full version for my new laptop. Right now the 64 bits built is installed. When I'm trying to activate the product key, it doesn't work. I tried using command prompts to activate it, but it would tell me that the product key is blocked error code: 0xC004C003 . What should I do? I don't want to pay for another product key at a higher price.

Please follow the below steps to resolve this issue:

Steps:

• Press and hold Windows key + R.
• Type ‘slui 3’.
• Enter your old product key and try to change product key
• Use the new product and check if you are able to activate.

Where is my Product Key if I want to re-install?


Like davidhk said. But if you really want to see your windows key, I would suggest Belarc advisor. It will give you some useful information about your system, product keys of your software is among them (not only Microsoft, you will have listed most of your keys).
