    the upgrade to 1903 was horrific and I was grateful to revert back to 1809 which has bugs I'll gladly suffer over the 1903 toture any day.

    I have pro so I deferred upgrading for 365 days assuming MS will get all their garbage resolved.

    Version 1903 is being released on a stepped basis, some hardware, especially AMD based hardware is currently blocked at the moment.

    This is nothing to worry about, this is done to protect your system and when Microsoft resolves any bugs with that hardware configuration, you will receive 1903, it just means waiting a bit longer for that update . . .

    As far as Wifi any chance it is Qualcom inside USB adapter, if Qualcom then yes known issue.


    I might create another user (Local) and when if try again see if this issue occurs on both users.

    Would also suggest you run the first 5 steps in this tutorial to see if you have any corruption with current build.

    Upgrading to 1903


    I have been running 1803 for several months now with no problems.
    I have my "delay" set to 180 days so that I don't receive a buggy update.
    I keep up-to-date on the various updates and felt confident that 1903 was OK to update to.
    I changed my "delay" to 90 days and immediately v1809 started downloading.
    I recall that 1809 had serious problems as October 2018 Update and was basically pulled from the servers.

    How is it that now, on my way to upgrading to 1903, 1809 is being pushed?

    I don't want to wreck a perfectly good image of Windows 10.
