Windows 10: blocking senders e mail

Need to block a senders e mail on windows 10 Hotmail but cannot see any options on opening inbox

to block the senders please follow these steps

open the message you want to block.

Add the sender to the blocked senders list.

In Windows Live Mail, choose Actions→Junk E-Mail→Add Sender to Blocked Senders List.

In Windows Mail, choose Message→Junk E-Mail→Add Sender to Blocked Senders List.

In Outlook Express, choose Message→Block Sender.

Click the Yes button or click OK.

To add the e-mail address of a sender in the Mail app. Left-click on the sender. Then add it to the People app through the dialog.

Mail from Blocked Senders

I know very little about Windows Live Mail, but I assume that in this respect, it works similarly to other e-mail programs: it can't stop a blocked sender's messages from being downloaded. What it does is move message from blocked senders to a junk mail
folder as they arrive.
