    The powerdvd software plays cds and dvds fine but I keep getting the message that it doesn't recognise any blu rays when placed in the bdrom drive. I think this is related to a windows update from earlier on in the year. I

    Blu Ray Fix on Windows 10


    Is there a fix to use a blu ray writer on Windows 10? Do I have go back to Windows 7 to have my Samsung blu ray writer to be recognized? I would appreciate some suggestions. Thanks

    Play Blu-Ray on Windows 10

    Hi -

    Since I have upgraded my Sony Vaio Laptop to Windows 10 my Blu-Ray drive no longer recognises blu-Ray disks.

    It does recognise DVDs using the DVD Player App and other DVDs for S/W, but was wondering if there was a way to enable Blu-Ray Playback within Windows 10?

    Or would I be forced to either downgrade or pay out for a 3rd party application?
