Windows 10: Blue screen after sleeping mode with stop code "win32k power watchdog timeout"

Hi all

I have Lenovo with Windows 10 installed. When I lid the screen it goes to the sleeping mode by default, after opening the laptop after this sleeping mode a blue screen with error message appears, the stop code for this error message is "win32k power watchdog timeout"

I tried power troubleshooting with safe mode but unfortunately did not work. Plz help if u know,, thanks in advance.

btw this happens when I keep the laptop in sleeping mode for more than 30 minutes

My computer crashed this morning, with a stop code I haven't seen before: "Win32k Power Watchdog Timeout." What causes this, and how can I prevent it from happening again?

this is the 5th time in less than 2 weeks that I have had my computer freeze up, BLUE SCREEN. it displays this code.. CLOCK WATCHDOG TIMEOUT

That is one of the very less documented Bugcheck codes. I suspect it is related to the graphics driver.

Win32k did not turn the monitor on in a timely manner.

Completely remove everything using DDU and install the newest copy of the driver available.
