Windows 10: Blue Screen - Continuous

I have an unusual problem with a PC that was working fine and had no changes except W10 updates.

The system started to 'blue screen' relatively intermittently and over the course of a week is now 'blue screen' nearly continuously. The 'stop code' was 'an unspecified error ..."


After some initial trouble shooting and trying procedures culled from the internet, it was decided to 'wipe' the system drive drive 'C' is an internal SSD dedicated to the W10 system ONLY.


A W10 Home edition was purchased USB stick and the computer was booted using the new system. The system drive was then completely re-initialized delete partitions, rebuild, and reformat.


The computer then started to 'blue Screen' even during the installation of the new W10 system.


This leaves me to believe that it is NOT the original w10 O/S dah! nor is it a driver ... since the system cannot even get to install the generic drivers.


I believe this is most likely a hardware issue ?


Is there anyone who can perhaps convey to me anything I am missing here or if the issue does appear to be a hardware failure, is there any thing to do other than 'substitute' known good components.

The Mobo is an Asus Aorus with an Intel I7 CPU.
