Blue screen crash after loading web browser

that last type i had was this annoying deal that high-jacked my default search engine to theirs and i couldn't change it back with out using i think Zemana. after i used Zemana it got rid of what ever was preventing me from changing my search engine setting. I can't remember what it was called. And i cant remember but i think bitdefender was warning of "phishing" attempts threw that search engine that the malware used. Bitdefender sent an alert saying "phishing attempt blocked" or some such thing as that. cant remember if it was Bitdefender or Zemana that did that honestly. i really dont get adware/malware often. Other than that i can't really think of another issues i've had with them.

    Those 3 scans were fine.
There were 8 misbehaving software drivers (all of these were AV drivers).

Many of us use Windows defender.
For extra protection you can add a manual scanner, for example Malwarebytes.

    Each AV product has:
true positives....................scan indicates malware and there is malware
true negatives..................scan indicates no malware and there is no malware
false positives...................scan indicates malware and there is no malware
false negatives.................scan indicates no malware and there is malware
    accuracy

The accuracy varies as frequently as the AV products are updated.

hmmm i see. Well i think i will uninstall avast. Turn on Windows Defender and keep Bitdefender for its on demand scan but keep it off when i dont use it. and Keep Zemana as well since its an anti malware and Anti key logger. Never really liked Avast any ways. does that sound ok and should really cause anymore AV driver issues?

The other steps that will be updated will be for the hardware drivers, windows fast startup, etc.

"3) open the webstie for the computer's drivers and post the URL or hyperlink into the thread."

this step kind of confuses me. are you asking me to dig up the url for each driver on my computer and post all the URLs on where to obtain them?

Fro each computer the manufacturer has a support webpage for updated drivers and bios. That would be useful to have in the thread. Dell and HP the product or serial number are entered in a menu. For others it is the model.

there is one issue i have with my motherboard. I'm not sure what the issue is (Driver issues or an actual hardware issue). I did buy it used. but none of the Audio Out ports work on the motherboard. Which is fine I either use the HDMI cord threw a TV or my USB Head set or USB speakers.

This is an independent web site that compares the AV products:
    AV-Comparatives Summary-Report - AV-Comparatives
Pick 1 always on product. Don't use an always on product as a manual product. Instead use a product designed for manual use.
This way the software products won't compete with each other.
If they do it can make the computer more vulnerable as neither product is properly working in the computer environment.

The Memtest86+ version 5.01 will evaluate a portion of the motherboard.

Please update the progress with the drivers and tests.

I am Currently scanning my hard drives with HD Tune. I think i may have an issue running MemTest86. As i dont believe i have a USB drive. Also dont have a CD burner nor a floppy drive XD

I maybe able to find a USB drive but i am not sure.

Also What other information did you need from HD Tune besides checking the Health of my HDs?
