Recently noticing that my Windows 10 laptop is running into the blue screen error. Windows is collecting the error details but never restarts. This is happening for the last few weeks, probably after the driver update. There is no exact pattern for the error. I have tried reverting back to previous version of the drivers but that didn't work. Also gone through the Windows Support website and tried troubleshooting, but didn't work either.


The recent error that I found is Stop code: WIN32K_POWER_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT.

PC ran into a problem

Hi Argel,

• The stop code error began within this past week
• I have an HP laptop and just updated the Bios
• It's happening once a day
• What I'm getting is a blue screen that first shows the sad face followed by: "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you."
• Then it states "If you call a support person, give them this info:" which is what I typed above.
