Windows 10: Blue Screen of Death at boot and keeps looping, cannot even go into Safe Mode

Hello everyone! So me and my two brothers run into a big problem for our PC. We keep getting a blue screen at boot that keeps looping (meaning the computer will restart and we will get again the blue screen). Most of the time the error is 'resource_not_owned', sometimes 'pfn_list_corrupt'. This started all when I was playing a game, GTA 4, for which you have to make a 'Windows Live' account which makes me think it has something to do with the blue screens, although I succesfully could play it for a week with no problems. In mid-Game a blue screen appeared and alas, the loop started.


After a few restarts we get an option to use a Windows Troubleshooter. We have used various options of it, including running in safe mode (and safe mode + networking) but to no avail. We have used debugging mode, and disable driver signature enforcement but all to no avail.


We have used basically every option of the Windows troubleshooter, but nothing helps. We cannot go into safe mode, and thus we cannot delete any drivers or third party programs.


For specs, which might be useful for anyone trying to help us (if so big thanks for even trying!):

-Windows 10

-GPU: GTX 970

-CPU: Intel i-5 4690

-Ram: 2x4 GB ddr3

Windows 10 Blue Screen Of Death Loop

Try the following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Step 1: Start the computer in Safe mode.

Please refer to the below link to start the computer in Safe mode and check if it fixes the issue:

Note: The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10.

If the issue is not occurring in Safe mode then, place the computer in a Clean Boot and check.

Step 2: Perform a Clean Boot and find out which application/service is causing this issue.

A clean boot helps to eliminate software conflicts and to determine what is causing the problem. Perform a clean boot on the computer by following the steps given in the link:

Note: The steps for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10.

Disclaimer: Please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot of the Kb article to boot the computer in normal startup after fixing the issue.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to update the Display adapters driver from the Device Manager.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.
• Select the Graphic driver from the list by extending Display adapters.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then, I would recommend you to download and install the latest video driver from the manufacturer and check if it works.

Updated, now stuck in loop, boot in safe mode - no desktop

Windows 10 April 2018 update-

After update stuck on blue screen that asks for keyboard layout and then takes me to Windows Rollback which just keeps looping. Booted in safe mode to a previous version of Windows, but then it says it cannot load the desktop and I get a black screen with
just the recycle bin. No start menu, windows key does not work.

Suggestions?
