    Blue screen of death. Software or hardware?


    Desktop has been a rockstar for years. Went to windows 10 and its been good for months. Two nights ago it went to a blue screen of death and wouldn't fully log into windows, then just went into a cycle of rebooting then BSOD. Shut it off for the night, was ok for the rest of the day, then last night around the same time, started doing it again, and again this morning.



    So far some of the BSOD erros I've got are....

    stop code: System thread exception not handled. What failed: nviddmkm.sys

    stop code: kmode exception not handled. What failed. NTFS.sys

    stop code: Page fault in not paged area

    stop code: Driver IRQL not less or equal

    stop code: System thread exception not handled

    stop code: Critical process died

    stop code: Security check failure



    Because it keep changes I"m not sure where to look. I'm going to pull the hard drive and re install windows 10 on a new drive, however does this sound like a windows corruption or hardware or???

    MB: Asus P8Z68-V LX

    CPU: i5-3550

    Ram: 16 gigs of kingson ram

    Graphcis. Two EN210

    Blue screen errors can occur if a serious problem causes Windows to shut down or restart unexpectedly. This error can be caused by both hardware and software issues. To isolate your concern, we'd like to know if there were any changes made
    prior to the issue.

    In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps provided on this link for blue screen error basic
    troubleshooting. Once you're on the page, select the option on when do you get the error and proceed with the steps listed.
