Windows 10: Blue Screen only when playing games or shutting off PC

I just got this laptop around March of 2022, a few months in it started to blue screen anytime I was playing a really intensive game. Games that are 2D or require very little to run haven't ever crashed my laptop, it's mainly ones that are 3D AAA games with really high graphics requirements. Of note: My computer meets the requirements to run those games, and I've double checked myself.Oddly, sometimes the game won't crash my computer, but it will cause other applications to fail, and when I go to turn off my PC, it bluescreens. I've had weird random memory leaks involving the weather app among

My PC keeps blue screening when playing games

thanks for your reply.

I have done everything you have suggested and still I will blue screen when gaming only.

I then reinstalled windows, and followed your steps again and still experiencing the same issues.

Also I was not overclocking ever. The blue screens occurred while at stock speeds.

Apologies I forgot to mention my motherboard is ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING.

Startup Blue Screen

BSOD When playing games

Please share the information requested below:

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
