Windows 10: Blue screen problems

Recently I started to get frequent blue screens on my pc and there were several different messages more than 5 different ones displayed like Page fault in nonpaged area. Anyway I went to Curry's/PCWorld and was told it could be hardware related or software related but obviously I didn't want to re-install Windows without finding out which one it was.


So I was advised to remove the RAM one piece at a time and if I removed a faulty one then that could be the problem, the pc has 4 x 2Gb pieces of RAM. The first piece I removed and then rebooted the pc and so far it hasn't bluescreened so maybe I got lucky first time? It is hard to know but the pc has been on for quite a while now including going to sleep overnight twice, previously the blue screens were happening even when I wasn't doing anything or possibly when the pc was sleeping.


So my question really is how can I be sure I have solved the problem? Is there an easy way to replicate what might have caused a bluescreen to see if it is still likely to happen like opening many programmes or something? This is the longest I have gone without a bluescreen fault since this started by a long way so things are looking good.


Is there any way to test the RAM with a software app?

Blue Screen Problems

Hello all. I have been plagued with frequent BSODs on my main computer. (see system specs for details) I am getting "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area", or the 0x50 stop error, blue-screens.
What I read on Google suggested that this blue-screen indicated a memory or hard drive error. I ran memtest86+, which passed, and chkdsk, which found no problems. I took all of my components down to stock clocks, and that didn't help. Does anyone have any experience or advice as to what I should try next?
