Windows 10: Blue Screen, then WiFi Driver Failure

Last night, I shut down my computer and saw that it had turned itself back on. I pressed the power button again, and tried to boot it up this morning, but was greeted with the dreaded “” and blue screen. After some time, my computer was able to boot up, with one problem: my WiFi driver has stopped functioning. I noticed that the WiFi logo in the taskbar was missing, which is quite normal when not connected. I attempted to find my WiFi settings as I normally would, but the tab was missing from “network and internet settings”. It simply doesn’t show WiFi settings as an option anymore. I attempted to use Windows troubleshooter, which recognized the issue as being the WiFi driver, but was unable to repair it. I attempted to update my network adapter driver in device manager but unfortunately this failed as well. I’ve been scavenging the internet for the past couple hours trying to fix this, but nothing seems to be working thus far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Side note: I have had connection issues with this device recently, particularly with randomly disconnecting from WiFi, and generally being much slower than other devices at equal distance to the router.

The device is an XPS 8700 with a GTX 1060 3GB.

Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:

  What is the make and model of your computer?
  
• 
  Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
