Windows 10: Blue screen with "Stop Code: Bad System Config Info" message

Hi, this one seems to come up alot and I've tried many of the suggestions but not getting anywhere.As many others report, my PC gets stuck in an unsuccessful 'Diagnosing problem' and 'automatic repair', which fails. This is what I've tried so far with no luck:

System Restore. I get an error message "Did not complete succesfully. An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. (0x80070003).


I've tried opening the command prompt window - at the top of the window I get:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17134.1]

Not enough memory resources are available to process this command

X:\windows\system32>


At this command prompt I've tried the following things which I've seen on various forums, firstly this set of commands:


cd d:\windows\system32\config

md backup

copy *.* backup

CD regback

copy *.* ..

Overwrite All

Exit



I get no error message but nothing changes on restart - same automatic repair loop. Also tried:

bcd edit/deletevalue {default} numericbcdeedit/deletevalue {default} truncatememory


but in both cases get “An error occurred while attempting to delete the specified data element. Element not found”

From the command prompt I've also tried:

sfc /scannow

I get "Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.


I can boot from my repair disk but it takes me back to the same blue screen and failed repair cycle.


What can I try next?

Windows update to blue screen - Stop code: bad system Config info

Dell desktop and the problem is when i turn on the pc. As soon as the Dell logo comes up, the system begins a system check. I then receive the blue screen “system error”. Stop Code: bad system config info.

I dont know much more about the PC, we dont use it often, but according to the info provided during the attempted System Restore that the error occurred after a Windows System Update.

I reseted my windows and tried all the available options offered on the screen but still can't solve it...

Bad system Config info help

I am running into the blue screen on my Windows 10 PC and the error stop code I get is: bad system Config info.

I have already tried to reset my PC, system restore and start up repair. My PC can’t boot into safe mode either when it tries I just get the blue screen again.
