Windows 10: Blue screen

I have a Lenovo laptop. All of sudden, got a weird message that I didn't have time to read then laptop shut off. I turned it on and got blue screen asking me to choose keyboard layout. Click US. Then next screen asking to choose an option 1- troubleshoot or 2- turn off your PC.

Next screen. Advanced options:

Startup Repair = tried it and not working


Uninstall updates 1- uninstall latest quality update or 2- uninstall latest feature update = tried it and for both got message " we ran into a problem and wont be able to uninstall...


System Restore = message: to use system restore, you must specify which installation to restore. Restart this computer, select an operating system, and then select System Restore... ???

Command Prompt: not sure what to do. Read a lot on internet. Tried bootrec /fixboot but said access denied


System image recovery

Even if I download iso file from Microsoft website and put it on USB drive, got message Windows cannot find a system image on this computer. Next screen when ask select location of backup for the computer to restore, my flash drive doesnt show up even if hot refresh... and whatever file I try, ending with message The specified location does not contain info about your hardware.


I just wanna be able to recover some of my files and games that I will copy to an external hard drive after.

I was about to replace my computer anyway but hope I can get it to work without losing any data.
