    Blue Snowball not being recognized properly.


    My blue snowball mic used to read as Blue Snowball on my laptop. One day I unplugged it and plugged it back in now it reads as Hi-res USB C Audio. No matter how many times I reset or unplug my mic it reads as Hi-res USB C audio. I don't know what the real issue is and I think it's starting to mess with how my mic sounds.

    Blue Snowball Microphone Firmware will not load from SHERPA

    I have a Blue Snowball microphone that worked fine on my previous Windows 10 Pro HP laptop. I just upgraded to a Dell laptop, and the Microphone is recognized, but does not work in MS Teams or with other online conference tools.

    I read all of the input in this discussion, that suggests installing the Blue SHERPA tool. When I open SHERPA, it randomly knows I have the Blue Snowball microphone, and randomly says I have no Blue devices. When I am lucky enough for SHERPA to find my microphone, I am told the firmware is outdated. If I click to update firmware, I get a message that the install was unsuccessful, and I should reboot. I have been through these steps several times, with no success.

    So, it appears the first step is to get updated firmware on this microphone. But, I cannot find how to do this without the Blue SHERPA tool. Can anyone point me to instructions for other ways to update my microphone's firmware?

    Blue Snowball not recognized by PC

    I used my brand new Blue Snowball about a week ago, worked great. But, I plug it in now and my PC, running windows 10, does not even recognize it is there. No error messages cause it does not see it. I have tried everything I can find on the web, to no
    avail. It does not show under recording devices, it's not in Device Manager. The red light is on, on the mic, but my PC does not see it.

    Blue Snowball iCE Microphone not working

    Hi all,

    I just got a Blue Snowball iCE and it is not working. I followed all published help document around the web and still no luck.

    I have:

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver
    • Tried different USB Ports
    • Making sure my Microphone Privacy Settings were set to on
    • Trying it on another Windows 10 Computer and following all of the above
    I think its broke but I am reaching out to the community to see if there is anything else I can do to get it to work.

    Any Suggestions on how to get it to work?

    I am running Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134. If more info is needed let me know.
