Any idea what's wrong with the dumps?

 

The event viewer reports of the dump errors are in general terms. You may still be able to create dumps.
The chkdsk /x /f /r is best run overnight so that in most cases the scan has completed by the next day.
The timing may depend on the size of the drive, problems found, and the free space.

 

chkdsk on E: is almost finished, is there anything else I can do in the meantime? Support ticket sent to Malwarebyte's today.

The E: Error scan got cut short as it didn't finish before I put the computer to sleep last night. Are you happy with what's been scanned or would you rather I run that again?

Does this mean the D: should be in good health now?

Macrium image will be made soon once I finish uninstalling AI Suite and MSI Afterburner.

 

The D drive has problems per HD Tune and chkdsk: bad block, unspecified error (possibly related to the bad block).
Once the Windows driver verifier is started the goal is to produce BSOD and then to continue using the tool to establish that there are no longer any misbehaving drivers. So you can complete the HD Tune and then start Windows driver verifier or interrupt the Windows driver verifier. Please make sure the 3rd party software has been uninstalled.

For drive D: are files backed up to where you could format this drive?

 

D: Has all of my games/screenshots installed on it plus other data which I regularly backup to E: There must be at least 700GB worth of games on there. I was planning on getting a 3TB drive to expand my games library and possibly move the existing games on D: to the new drive. What are you thinking?

If a misbehaving driver was related to AI Suite or MSI Afterburner wouldn't we want to keep that software installed to catch the misbehaving driver?

 

For the troubleshooting please uninstall AI Suite and MSI Afterburner per the previous posts.
The chkdsk error may not be fixed by a repeat chkdsk run and a format may be a method to continue using the drive before it fails.

 

Is the D: in that bad condition? I've continued using it for over a year with:

Current Pending Sector Count 96/100
Off-Line Uncorrectable Sector Count 96/100

warnings that HWiNFO detect.

Is the D: error your referring to "An unspecified error occurred (766f6c756d652e63 470)" at the of the D: log I attached? Is this related to the sector count warnings? What would you like me to do?

 

For the D: the next step is to repeat the chkdsk /x /f /r scan to see the outcome.
If it were a Windows drive it could trigger a chkdsk on boot, and with it being a storage drive it may just create a lot of bad block entries in the event viewer. In the chkdsk /x /f /r report there is a section where a file or files could have been lost if they were not able to be fixed or restored. So the format was suggested to see if that may have any impact.
