Windows 10: Bluetooth audio receiver not working

I've been using an app called "bluetooth audio receiver" to allow my phone and taplet to share sound to my pc via bluetooth.I had to stop using it for i while and when i started using it again it doesn't work. apparently, the app doesn't share the sound anymore even tho I am connected to it. what made me think that is even tho I am playing audio on my other device I can't find the app in the volume mixer at all. i tried another app called "bluzic" which used to work for me as well, but doesn't work anymore. I tried re installing windows and uninstalling the bluetooth driver, both attempts were

Bluetooth Audio Receiver is not working (Idle)

I have been using the "Bluetooth Audio Receiver" software from the Microsoft Store for over a year and have never had any problems with it. However, the programme has not recognised my mobile phone for a month now. I have tried several things, but none of them helped.

• I have reinstalled the Bluetooth driver (I don't have Bluetooth on the motherboard, but an external adapter via USB) and also updated all the other outdated drivers on my PC. I also reinstalled the software several times, but that didn't help either.
  
• I also connected a jukebox to my PC via Bluetooth and the sound came out of the jukebox without any problems, which means that it can't be the Bluetooth adapter.
  
• I also tried connecting another mobile phone to the PC. As with mine, this also worked perfectly, but the "Bluetooth Audio Receiver" software did not recognise this device either and only displayed "Idle".
  

Is there another way to rectify the error, or what could be the cause?

• What is the exact error message that you receive?
  
• When do you get the error message?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

I suggest you to check if there is any yellow yield for the audio drivers in Device Manager. To check please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Expand Sound, video and game controllers
   and check if any of the driver has yellow yield on it.
   
4. If you find any device with yellow yield, right click on it and click on
   Update Driver.
   
5. Click on Search automatically for updated driver software.
   
6. Once the driver is update restart the computer.
