Windows 10: Bluetooth can't find any nearby devices

I have a laptop SAMSUNG NOTEBOOK NP300


My Bluetooth device is active, No antivirus is installed except Windows Defender.


Problem:

Whenever I try to pair with a device it kept on searching in ADD A DEVICE.


I've tried troubleshooting and try to update the driver from the device manager everything seems normal and updated.


The following drivers are installed in Device Manager

1. Bluetooth Device RFCOMM Protocol TDI
2. Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
3. Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0

Do I have to install any more driver or anything else or should I try any different setting to pair or connect with other devices?

Bluetooth and Nearby Sharing

I have my Desktop and Notebook paired. This is shown in the Bluetooth and Device settings.

The Bluetooth icon in the Action Center of each computer shows Not Connected. Because of this, the send/receive files feature of Bluetooth will not work.

After two hours of fiddling with it, I found that if I right click on a file in Windows Explorer, and select Share, I am given the option of Sharing with nearby devices using Bluetooth and wi-fi. When I select a device, the Bluetooth Icon in the Action Center shows the Bluetooth is connected to the other computer and the transfer works.

So why does it work through Explorer, but not send/receive method?

BTW, Bluetooth will connect to a device such as a mouse or keyboard without a problem.

 

What's wrong with Nearby Sharing?

I can't see any way to tell Nearby Sharing what kind of network to use (Bluetooth or WiFi). And I just can't turn BT off because I use a BT mouse.
