Windows 10: Bluetooth disabled and unable to install driver

Running Windows 10 on a 64bit Intel desktop computer. I have a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and keyboard which occasionally do not work. In the past I have uninstalled the Bluetooth driver in device manager and restarted the computer. Windows reinstalls the driver and everything is usually fine and the devices are working. This time not so.I have researched the Microsoft community posts and I see others have had this problem in the past. I have pretty much tried everything including manually downloading the Intel drivers and installing. Bluetooth and related driver r

As you are unable to install the software for the driver in normal mode, I suggest you to install the same in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below:

• Right click on the setup file of the software and select
  “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility” Tab.
• Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
• Let the software install and then check thefunctionality.

Method 1:

Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

• Press “Windows key + W” and type “troubleshooting”.
• Select “Troubleshooting”.
• Select “View all” on the top left corner.
• Click “Hardware and Devices”.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the Bluetooth
drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Bluetooth
drivers:

• Press “Windows Key + X key” and click “Device Manager”.
• Right-click on the “Bluetooth” device listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to “delete driver software”.
• “Restart” the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset and Bluetooth
drivers.

Unable to access Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as there are no drivers in Device Manager on Windows 10

1. Connect to the internet (Wired internet connection).

2. Press
Windows key and type updates.

3. Click on
Check for updates.

4. Under
Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

5. Try to install the updates being shown.
