  1. Bluetooth has disappeared from my computer

Today I successfully moved several small files from my Dell Inspiron 3793 laptop 5 months old to my smartphone using Bluetooth. I stepped away to make coffee and put some laundry in the washing machine, and when I came back I attempted to move several more small files from the laptop to the smartphone. I received the message that there was no Bluetooth device available.

I am using Windows 10 Home.

    - I opened the Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other devices. The Bluetooth toggle On/Off button was no longer there.
    - I opened Device Manager to check the Bluetooth Adapter. It was also gone.
    - I went to Services to see if the Bluetooth Services was set to "Automatic." The Bluetooth Service is no longer shown in "Services"
    - I went to the Dell Website and downloaded the Bluetooth driver for my PC I have Dell Premium Support - I have an account - I know it was the right driver because this is the 50th time literally that I've had to do this in the last 5 months.
    - Restarted my computer. Still not Bluetooth.

As mentioned, this has happened about every three to five days since I've owned this computer.

Previously, the above steps have solved the problem. Now it seems that Windows is broken beyond repair.

Actually, in my life of experience with ALL Microsoft products, most of them are broken beyond repair right out of the box.

I've read hundreds of similar posts now all archived from people with different brand computers, desktops, laptops, even with different brands of Bluetooth adapters... all having the same issue. So it is impossible for the hardware to be the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

    :)

    Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
