Windows 10: Bluetooth headphone is paired but can't connect to windows (after reset)

So a few days ago I reset my computer and since then I can't seem to connect my headphones to my pc anymore (was not a problem before the reset).

In the Bluetooth settins windows I always get the message 'That didn't work. Make sure your bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again.'

I am running Windows version 19041 atm.

(I also noticed that I can't find my Samsung Earbuds at all anymore.)



I googled for solutions (it looks like a lot of people have this problem) but can't seem to make it work with the provided 'fixes' on Reddit and Microsoft support.

I tried:

- Bluetooth troubleshooter (It always finds this: https://imgur.com/a/QJmXylo . Rough translation: Checking status of Bluetooth-radio)

- Making sure my pc is able to be found by devices (in bluetooth settings)

- Restarting Bluetooth Support Service and setting it on Automatic

- Deleting my bluetooth driver (Qualcomm Atheros) and restarting, making Windows reinstall it. (It reinstalled an older version, then windows update updated it to the last one)This is my driver: https://imgur.com/a/8toKbZM

- Updating the bluetooth driver (automatic check and check in windows update), didn't find an update

- Disabling Microsoft Bluetooth-enumerator (made things very slow; finding, pairing, etc)

- Changing the Bluetooth Support Service 'Log On' -account to 'Local Service' and deleting the passwords in the Log On tab (supposed fix on another website)



I do seem to be getting a 'CSR GAIA' device, in use when pairing the headphone, under 'other devices' which I do not recall being there before the reset (can be wrong ofc).



Is there any known solution other than maybe resetting again?
Is my only option to buy a Bluetooth usb dongle to be able to connect?

If you need any more information, let me know. Hopefully you guys can help me out, I'm out of ideas.

bluetooth headphones

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank

 

Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones paired but not connected

Hi everyone,

Hopefully this is on the right board....

I've got the Taotronics TT-BH07 bluetooth headphones which I've paired with my Windows 10 laptop and it worked fine the first time. I found that the following day, after the laptop had been switched off and started again, when I switch the headphones on, it doesn't connect to the laptop. It shows up in the list of bluetooth devices as "paired" but it doesn't connect automatically. If I remove it and go through the whole pairing process again, I can then use it.

I would have expected it to connect to the laptop automatically when it is switched on. I've had no problems connecting it with my iPhone. I've checked online for drivers for these headphones but there's nothing available, not even on the official Taotronics website.

Am I missing something here? Is this a bug or is there some further configuration I need to carry out on Windows in order to have the headphones connect as soon as I switch them on? Any and all input greatly received.
