    Bluetooth issues after updating


    Hello! When I am playing audio through bluetooth, the sound keeps stopping and resuming automatically! I thought I was just losing part of the audio, but I noticed in Spotify when I was playing a song and the time was at 1:10, when stopping it, it would go back to 0:47, as if it detected there was a problem with the audio. The bluetooth light on the back of the computer keeps switching on/off ONLY while playing music or watching a video... I am not sure if that's normal behavior, I never saw the light switching like that though. My bluetooth drivers are also up to date according to Device Manager and Driver Booster 7.6! It was working great a week ago. Troubleshooters didn't help either.

    Regarding your question about locking Windows Anniversary update, it is possible to postpone an update but it cannot be stopped.

    Hi,

    I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

    Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

    • Search Device Manager using Cortana.
    • Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

    Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

    • Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
    • Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
    • Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
