Windows 10: Bluetooth Issues

Hi,

I recently bought a brand new PC, and I cannot properly connect my Bluetooth earbuds to them. I have tried it with two different earbuds which both can connect to my laptop without an issue, so I know it is a problem with the Bluetooth of the desktop.

When I try to pair the earbuds, they do pair, however, there is absolutely no sound coming through, and half the time there is no option for the earbuds when you click the sounds icon at the bottom right. They also will randomly disconnect, and then when I try to connect them after pairing, it will say it did not work and could not find them.

Furthermore, when it does appear in the sound icon, there are two options for some reason called BE Sport 4 Stereo and then BE Sport 4 Audio. When it is in BE Sport 4 Stereo, there is no sound but videos and media will load, however, when I put it to the Audio version, not only is there no sound, but videos will cease to play entirely and I get a spinning wheel despite having loaded it in advance.

I have never come across an issue like this with Bluetooth, especially on my laptop. This issue happens with both earbuds, and are different brands BE Sport 4 + Bose, so any advice would be greatly appreciated as I need earbuds for schooling.

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
