Windows 10: Bluetooth issues

So, for a little context i'm in university, and when I log onto zoom, it crashes, i restart my computer, and then i have audio issues where audio will not play AT ALL (the little volume symbol has a red x on it). I managed to fix it yesterday, and it happened again today. It took me 45 min to fix it.

However, now when I add/connect a bluetooth device no sound plays. The device just says "connected" instead of "connected, voice, music" or whatever it says, so no audio comes out my bluetooth headphones.

I've tried removing the device and repairing it, but still doesn't work. I've also checked if all the drivers are update and they are. I've probably reset my laptop 10+ times in the past few hours. I also did a network reset earlier and it says bluetooth network connection is not operational, how can i fix this!??

Edit: wanted to add information about my laptop;

• HP Laptop 15-dw0xxx
• Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU @ 1.60GHz 1.80GHz
• windows 10 version 20H2
• os build: 19042.868

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
