Windows 10: Bluetooth light on keyboard

I have a Dell Precision 4800 with the latest W updates. At the top of my keyboard I have 4 small lights showing hard drive action, network, bluetooth, and numbers-lock. My bluetooth settings are turned off from the 'settings' menu but once in a while the bluetooth light comes on by itself. It does not stay on for long - a few minutes - and I should like to know what causes this to happen. I have no other equipment on my desk; nothing. Any opinions/advice/gossip appreciated in advance. Step 1:
On your iPad®, tap the
Charge your Bluetooth Keyboard fully before use.
Toggle Bluetooth

5. When the Bluetooth device finds the Keyboard, select
“Bluetooth Keyboard” from the list.
2. To turn OFF, Slide the switch to the OFF position. The Bluetooth
light will blink 3 times and the Keyboard will turn OFF.

password shown on the tablet
(or device) and press enter.

Bluetooth Keyboard.

Connected” is displayed. To disconnect, turn the Keyboard OFF.

Keyboard lights

Did you mean the keyboard backlight or indicator lights (i.e. Num Lock)?

If your problem is about indicator lights, are you using a external keyboard?

--KEYBOARD BACKLIGHT--

Consult your laptop's manual downloaded from the internet. You might want to install some drivers in order to use the backlight.

--INDICATOR LIGHT--

LAPTOP KEYBOARD

If indicator light, try pressing the Caps Lock key and see if the caps lock light turned on. Same process for Scroll and Num lock.

Some laptops may show the "Caps Lock ON" in your laptop screen.

EXTERNAL KEYBOARD (EITHER USB OR BLUETOOTH)

When you use the external keyboard, locate the "Caps Lock" key indicator light. Try pressing the "Caps Lock" and make sure if it is turned on. Same process for Scroll and Num Lock.

If these are not working, try installing or updating the drivers. You'll need to restart after installing.
