Windows 10: Bluetooth low quality microphone

Hello i am using Windows 11 and the Sennheiser CX True Wireless Bluetooth HeadsetPlayback quality is ok, but i cannot use the microphone in a good quality. The recording quality is very bad not so on Android Smartphone or iPad - there ist perfectThe Recording tab on sound device manager shows only greyed, so not changeable :1 channel 16 bit 16000Hz How can I change that to get higher quality?

This issue might occur if there is change microphone or audio settings.

• Have you tried to check the issue by connecting with another microphone device on the computer?
• Are you getting any error message on the computer when you use the Microphone?

Low quality audio in headset when microphone is activated

Anytime anything activates the mic (Discord, Skype, Webex, the recording tab in the sound part of the control panel) the audio quality in my headset is very low quality.

To Reproduce:

1. Play music of choice
   
2. Press the windows key and type sound
   
3. Click the Recording tab. Music will change to low quality
   
4. Click the Playback tab your music should sound normal
   
5. Rip hair out in frustration

lenovo support forums I've fixed my problem!

• Right click the speaker icon in the system tray by the clock
  
• • Click 'Playback devices'
• Change the default to the 'headphones'

the lenovo support link has screen shots, fyi.

"Some bluetooth devices have
2 modes: Regular listening device and a "handsfree" mode where you can use both the audio and microphone. If you somehow got switched to
handsfree mode, then the audio quality will be much worse since some of the
bluetooth bandwidth will be taken up for the microphone."
