I have a Bluetooth speaker that suddenly won't output at full volume. The PC and soundbar both show they are at full volume but the sound from the soundbar is very low. I have tried unplugging it, unsyncing it and nothing fixes it.

    Bluetooth Speaker No sound Issues

Since you seem to be able to connect to the speaker via bluetooth, the next thing I would check is what Audio Playback device is set as the default. To check this, navigate to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound and you will see a box that looks like this:

You should see the connected bluetooth speaker listed on the playback device list. Right click on the device and select "Set as default device". You can also right click the device and select "test" to send a test chime to the speaker. If you right click the device and select "Properties", there may be a tab for "Levels" which allows you to set the volume output from the computer (not sure whether bluetooth devices have this option). Lastly, ensure the volume on the speaker itself is loud enough to hear.

Stereo Mix Volume Is Lower than the Speaker

I was changing the sound settings to make the Stereo Mix volume higher, including when I record something, but no luck.

    bluetooth speakers

    Hi Andrea,

When the Bluetooth speakers are connected, can you click on the volume icon in the bottom right hand corner

It should list the device for sound in your laptop, if you click on that name it should give you a list of devices to select from and hopefully your Bluetooth speakers should be listed, select them and the sound should now come through the speakers

Let me know how this goes
